Collagen Fruit Jellies (Printable)

Soft, chewy fruit snacks boosted with collagen for skin and joint health. Gluten-free and dairy-free.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup (240 ml) 100% fruit juice (orange, mixed berry, or apple)
02 - 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, optional, adjusted to taste

→ Collagen and Gelling

03 - 2 tablespoons (about 20 g) grass-fed collagen peptides
04 - 3 tablespoons (about 30 g) unflavored gelatin powder

# How To Make:

01 - Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes to bloom.
02 - Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the gelatin dissolves completely. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
03 - Remove from heat. Add the collagen peptides and sweetener if using, stirring thoroughly until fully combined.
04 - Pour the liquid into silicone molds or a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the jellies are completely firm.
06 - Remove the jellies from the molds. If using a baking dish, cut into bite-sized pieces with a paring knife.
07 - Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • These taste like gummy candy but secretly support your skin and joints with every bite.
  • The whole process takes about fifteen minutes of actual work before the fridge does the rest.
02 -
  • If the gelatin does not bloom properly before heating, your jellies will have a grainy texture that no amount of stirring can fix later.
  • Collagen peptides and gelatin are not interchangeable in this recipe because they serve completely different purposes.
03 -
  • Spray your molds with the faintest mist of neutral oil before pouring and every single jelly will release perfectly without tearing.
  • Warm your whisk under hot water before stirring because a cold utensil can cause the gelatin to seize and clump on contact.
