# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It comes together in literally five minutes with zero cooking required
  • The chia seeds turn an ordinary smoothie into something that actually sticks with you
  • You can tweak the base and add-ins to match whatever is in your fridge
02 -
  • Chia seeds will continue thickening the longer it sits, so drink within ten minutes if you prefer a thinner consistency
  • Using completely frozen fruit instead of fresh gives you that perfect smoothie texture without watering it down with ice
  • Your blender needs to be powerful enough to break down the chia seeds, or you will have gritty bits instead of smooth silkiness
03 -
  • Start blending on low speed to incorporate chia seeds before ramping up to high, or they will stick to the sides
  • If your smoothie separates after sitting, just give it a quick stir or shake to redistribute everything
