01 - In a large mixing bowl, stir together oats, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, flaxseed, chia seeds, and sea salt until evenly blended.
02 - Add peanut butter, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly with a spatula until uniform and sticky.
03 - Scoop heaping tablespoons of mixture and roll into balls by hand. If too sticky, chill the dough for 10 minutes before rolling.
04 - Place the formed balls on a parchment-lined baking tray, spacing them evenly.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm the balls. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
