05 - 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
06 - 1 tsp lemon zest
07 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
08 - 1 tsp dried oregano
09 - ½ tsp dried thyme
10 - ¾ tsp kosher salt, divided
11 - ½ tsp ground black pepper, divided

→ Garnish

12 - Lemon wedges for serving
13 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

# How To Make:

01 - Set oven temperature to 425°F and prepare a large rimmed baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or foil.
02 - In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper; whisk until blended.
03 - Arrange green beans and sliced red onion on the baking sheet. Drizzle with half of the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Spread in a single layer, leaving space in the center for the salmon.
04 - Place salmon fillets in the center of the baking sheet. Brush each fillet with remaining marinade and sprinkle with the remaining salt and black pepper.
05 - Cook in the oven for 16 to 18 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and green beans are tender-crisp.
06 - Remove sheet from oven. Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Everything cooks on one pan, so cleanup is just a quick wipe down and youre done.
  • The lemon and garlic soak into both the fish and vegetables, tying the whole meal together without any extra sauces.
  • Its flexible enough to handle whatever vegetables you have on hand, and the salmon always comes out tender.
02 -
  • Dont overcrowd the pan or the vegetables will steam instead of roast, and youll lose that crispy-edged magic.
  • If your salmon fillets are thicker than an inch, add a few extra minutes to the cooking time and check the thickest part with a fork.
  • Let the sheet pan cool for a minute before serving so the flavors can settle and you dont burn your fingers grabbing a piece of onion.
03 -
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel before brushing on the marinade so it clings better and creates a light crust.
  • Rotate the pan halfway through cooking if your oven has hot spots, so everything browns evenly.
  • Taste a green bean before you pull the pan out, it should be tender but still have a little bite in the center.
