# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The salty halloumi against sweet chili sauce hits that perfect sweet and salty balance everyone craves
  • You get that satisfying crunch from fresh vegetables without spending forever chopping
  • Everything comes together so fast you will actually want to cook on weeknights
02 -
  • Halloumi releases quite a bit of liquid when it cooks, so do not be alarmed if your pan gets a little watery, just keep cooking
  • Do not overcrowd your pan when frying the cheese or it will steam instead of getting that gorgeous golden crust we want
  • The tortillas need to be warm to fold without cracking, so take your time with this step even when you are hungry
03 -
  • Pat the halloumi dry with paper towels before frying to minimize splattering and help the browning process
  • Let the fried cheese rest for a minute on paper towels to remove excess oil before assembling your wraps
  • If your tortillas crack when rolling, wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for another 10 seconds
